What this does not change
- What we recommend. Every buying guide states the main compromise each pick asks you to accept, including compromises that will cost us clicks.
- What we say about limitations. Several telescopes on this site carry prominent warnings that they cannot do what a visitor may be hoping for.
- Scoring. Scores come from a deterministic function of stored specifications and declared editorial ratings, documented on themethodology page. Merchant relationships are not an input.
Prices and availability
We do not publish prices. A price recorded last month is worse than no price at all, and several affiliate programmes prohibit displaying stale prices anyway. Where a record has a verified availability check we show its date; where it does not, we show nothing rather than guessing.
